Why care about using water wisely?
- Water is a precious resource we all share. Our regional water sources supply not only 1.4 million people throughout the Seattle area, but also our important salmon population and ecosystem.
- Using water efficiently now helps stretch our supply for current and future generations. The Northwest's plentiful rain and snowfall keeps our supply strong, but this may not always be the case.
