SAVING WATER PARTNERSHIP:  Helping customers reduce water waste and use water efficiently.

Northshore Utility District has partnered with 18 other utilities in the Seattle area to form the Saving Water Partnership

This partnership helps support programs like:

  • Rebates for water-efficient toilets and appliances.  Savingwater.org/rebates gives info on which models are eligible.

Savingwater.org offers many valuable tips on increasing your home's water use efficiency and sustainability, including:

Why care about using water wisely?

  • Water is a precious resource we all share. Our regional water sources supply not only 1.4 million people throughout the Seattle area, but also our important salmon population and ecosystem.

  • Using water efficiently now helps stretch our supply for current and future generations. The Northwest's plentiful rain and snowfall keeps our supply strong, but this may not always be the case.

  • And water-wise practices help keep your water bills as low as possible.
