Service Rates
When determining rates, the District carefully analyzes numerous cost factors associated with providing water and sewer services. These factors include: the cost of water, fees paid to King County for the conveyance and treatment of wastewater, personnel costs, capital improvement projects, and local municipal franchise fees.
The District continually invests to improve the reliability and quality of service. These investments include rehabilitating, replacing, and expanding facilities and pipelines; updating IT security systems, adopting new technologies to improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
